WOMAN UP

This work was created specifically for the group exhibition EUROFEMININ 2025 in Sion, curated by Agnès Guhl as part of the Women’s European Football Championship in Switzerland 2025.

Inspired by the energy, spirit, and power of football, the piece features a vibrant, diamond-studded ball motif crowned by the handwritten phrase “WOMAN UP.” More than a celebration of the game, it symbolizes the solidarity, strength, and vitality of women – in sport and far beyond.

To realize this vision, I deliberately chose to work with AI-assisted techniques, integrating modern technology into the artistic process. Including my own handwriting – a deeply personal and human gesture – was essential in building a bridge between innovation and tradition.

“WOMAN UP” is also my personal mantra. It speaks to empowerment, community, and the collective energy we embody as women.

The work was shown as a large-format glossy photo print (120 x 120 cm) at Haus Platea in Sion and as a banner print (200 x 200 cm) displayed on the Passerelle Vissigen.
