Goldrausch 2nd Edition: ERFOLG!?

In the group exhibition Goldrausch 2nd Edition, I showed the photograph "Unicorn Kiss" - a dazzlingly surreal reflection of longings, projections and the myth of success. The work was complemented by the performance "My Personal Construction Site", in which I broke open the smooth surface of success stories: Barbie's arms were sawn up, her face preserved in clay, an improvised construction site with yellow tape marked the site of the reconstruction.

Between the unicorn and the construction site, a field of tension emerges - a critical examination of the concept of "unicorn companies", those overrated start-ups that are celebrated as the beacons of hope of digital capitalism. Between glitter and mud: where does success begin - and what remains of it when you saw it apart?
