This is a selection of photography I made during my sole stay in an Ayurveda retreat in Dehradun.

​

When you are at a retreat for three weeks doing a Panchakarma cure, you build a relationship with the staff. The manager of the restaurant once said that they are my family and do everything to make me feel comfortable. And that was not just empty talk. I felt a strong connection with these people who cared for me every day and asked me about my state of mind every day. And out of this came this short portrait series with the Polaroid camera. Unfortunately, I didn't have any more film available. Otherwise I would have taken many more pictures of my family.
