EUROFEMININ2025
2025
Group exhibition by female artists for the Women's European Championship
July 2–27, 2025, Sion (Sitten)
On the occasion of the 2025 Women's European Championship, Sion was transformed into a lively exhibition venue. The EUROFEMININ 2025 project, initiated by Valais artist Agnès Guhl, brought together female artists from all over Switzerland – in public spaces and at the Platea building. The focus was on the connection between art and soccer, female strength, and community. The works honor Jacques Guhl (1922–2024), soccer coach and founder of the Sion soccer school, as well as the first female players who began their careers here.
The exhibition was divided into two parts:
• “Chemin du Supporter”: Large-format works on tarpaulins along the Passerelle de Vissigen.
• Originals and objects: At Maison Platea, Rue du Vieux Collège
My contributions to the exhibition:
WOMAN UP
Photo print, 120 × 120 cm, 2024
Using AI-assisted technology and my own handwriting, I created a powerful soccer motif – covered with sparkling diamonds and the motto “WOMAN UP.”
This work stands for self-empowerment, community, and the power of female presence – in sports and beyond.
NET OF UNITY
Acrylic on canvas, 100 × 100 cm, 2025
A deep blue background meets a honeycomb-shaped net created by a soccer ball dipped in paint. The image embodies team spirit, strategy, and the dynamics of women's soccer. The honeycomb pattern symbolizes the interplay and connection between the players—carried by hope, passion, and anticipation for the 2025 European Championship.
MOTHER SOCCER
Installation, Moncler ribbons, variable length, 40 × 20 × 10 cm, 2025
Two upside-down soccer balls – hung in the room like breasts. This installation plays with the body, motherhood, and soccer aesthetics. Provocative, open to selfies and conversation.
