The work is located in the public realm and is permanently embedded in the historic fabric of the building as a supraporte — an overdoor panel. The ornamental drawing was created with stencils and white spray paint on a wooden panel prepared with genuine gold leaf by a conservator.

As light conditions change and viewers move past the work, the perception of the ornament continually shifts. The drawing refers to the historically documented 16th-century core of the building. At the same time, the use of spray paint responds to the spray-painted façades in the same alley, opening a dialogue between historical preservation, artistic intervention and contemporary visual language.
