STATIONS OF THE CROSS

These 14 large-sized drawings, which are exhibited in the provisional church exhibition room “chapel 3” at the Kapellgasse 4, are closely based upon the original Stations of the Cross in the Peter's chapel. My chosen style of brushwork, the concentration on the character of Jesus Christ, and the omission of all other characters render the drawings airy, cartoon-like and modern.
