CHANGE IS STRENGTH - SWISS WOMEN ARTISTS TODAY

This exhibition,  curated by Evelyne Brader-Frank and Carine Hayoz, lasts from November 9 to 19, 2023 at Villa Meier Severini, Zollikerstrasse 86, Zollikon (Zurich).

The exhibition was preceded by a competition among members of the SGBK (Swiss Society of Women Visual Artists) Section Zurich. I was selected and show my three photographs "Alphina", "Amar" and "Dushyant". These three "portraits" represent foreign employees in Swiss housholds. 

"Humiliated, beaten, imprisoned: Slavery cases on the rise in Switzerland. For the first time there are figures on the exploitation of workers in Switzerland. Only a few cases come to light." (NZZ Magazine).

In addition, the vernissage will be the release of Maria Becker's publication "Change is Strength - Swiss Women Artists Today", in which I am also portrayed.
